Welcome to Lynch's Funeral Home we are licensed embalmers and funeral directors.We at Lynch's Funeral Home, take full responsibility for all funeral arrangements. We would be happy to assist you in your time of need , to help deal with the loss of a loved one. We would be happy to provide you with information regarding benefits to Veterans and their families, old age security, Canada Pension, Dept of Social Services, airline discounts (should any family member have to travel).

Today more and more people are more open about funerals and people are more open to prearranging and prepaying their own funerals. If you were to consider prepayment and pre-planning of funeral services, you would find it to be a very sound decision. You pay at current prices and there will not be any additional costs to you or your estate. The funds are deposited in an insured trust account. You are always in control of you funds, and they can be withdrawn at any time. We supply and install headstones, monuments, etc. which also can be paid for over a convenient period of time as are all our services.

In the light of the recent COVID-19 we will implement the following practices and procedures:
 

Post signage throughout the building to avoid hand shaking and close personal contact..
Post signage advising of proper hand washing.                    -

Implement a regular disinfecting of our public spaces.

Due to the Public Health Emergency declared by the Government of NL

the following guidelines are implemented 

One visitation is permitted

The immediate family can stay for the full visitation.  The family can receive guests one bubble at a time, as long as there are only 20 people in the room at one time.  At a funeral service there can be up to 50 people, and at the cemetery only 50 people are allowed.  Physical distancing must be adhered to at all times.

We are recommending that people pay their respects by phone call or by visiting our online website and sending a  message of condolance to the family

We are recommending that family members that are experiencing flu like symptoms to avoid visiting the funeral home.

We are recommending that families not bring food or beverages to the funeral home.
